Eugene
S. Tarsky, CPA, MST
Gene received his MST from Bentley
College and BBA from U Mass, Amherst. His whole career of more than 35 years has
been in public accounting, first with PricewaterhouseCoopers, then with several
local firms before opening his own office. A specialist in taxation, Gene has
taught tax courses for CPA’s at Northeastern and Boston Universities as
well as for the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s, for which he received an
outstanding rating. Beyond tax preparation, Gene has extensive experience in tax
planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts. His
interactions with taxing authorities include audits, employment tax matters as
well as helping those unable to pay overdue balances. Gene’s industry concentrations
include law, health care, real estate, small contractors as well as many other
service industries.
Edward
A. Zanchi, CPA, MBA
Ed
received an MBA from Babson College, graduating with High Distinction, and a BBA
in Accounting from UMass, Amherst. From his first 5 years in public accounting
with PricewaterhouseCoopers to the next 18 years in financial management positions
with The TJX Cos., The Stop & Shop Companies, Almy Stores, Inc., and T. Deane,
Inc., Ed has accumulated a broad range of business exposure with large and small
companies- including ten years as a Chief Financial Officer. Ed then opened his
own CPA practice before becoming a partner of Tarsky, Zanchi & Associates,
Inc. Ed brings a high level of hands on experience to the benefit of our clients
and has particular expertise in the Construction, Contractor, and Retail industries.
He has also been an adjunct professor and has taught Business Strategy and Policy
Formulation and various accounting courses. In addition, Ed holds insurance and
securities licenses.
Ronald
C. Zullo, CPA, MST
Ron
received a BS in Accounting and an MST (Taxation) from Bentley College. He has
spent several years with both international and regional public accounting firms.
Ron’s areas of expertise include corporate, partnership and individual taxation.
He focuses his efforts on the special issues particular to closely held business
and their owners. Ron holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
In addition, he is a member in good standing of the American Institute of CPAs
and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. Ron is a part-time lecturer in the Graduate
Tax program of Northeastern University.Small Business Accounting.
Nicole
Orser, CPA
Nicole
received a B.S. in Accounting from UMass, Amherst in December of 1994. She worked
for 3 years at the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC on clients such
as T.J. Maxx, J. Jill and WPI. She spent 5 years in Accounting Management at Staples,
Inc. before leaving to establish her own CPA practice working with smaller businesses.
She has specific experience in the Retail, Service and Contractor industries.
She is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor and teaches Quickbooks seminars.program of Northeastern
University.Small Business Accounting.
Janine
O'Connor
Janine
graduated with an Associates degree and Accounting Certificate from Dean College.
She has worked in Public Accounting since 1984 and has worked with Tarsky, Zanchi
& Associates, Inc. for 13 years. She has extensive bookkeeping and accounting
knowledge and specializes in the financial services, medical and investment industries.
She is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor and has extensive knowledge of other accounting
software, including Quicken, Peachtree and MS Small Business Accounting.
Elissa
Salett
Elissa
contributes her substantial talents and extensive experience in organizing and
setting up systems relating to office procedures and controls. Since graduating
from Burdett College of Business, majoring in secretarial and bookkeeping, she
has added more than 30 years of experience in public accounting.
